About Us

Butternut Valley Farms is proudly owned and operated by brothers Jacob and Daniel Bunnett, third-generation farmers continuing a family tradition rooted in hard work, stewardship, and respect for the land.

The brothers are taking over the beef operation from their parents, David and Sandra Bunnett of Bunnett Green Meadows Farm, who have been raising grassfed beef for over 25 years. Growing up on the farm, Jacob and Daniel learned firsthand the value of responsible land management, animal care, and producing food their own family would be proud to serve.

Today, Butternut Valley Farms builds on that foundation while looking ahead to the future. The farm is focused on regenerative agriculture practices that improve soil health, strengthen grassland ecosystems, and enhance long-term sustainability.

The cattle are managed with care and respect from birth to harvest. Healthy soil produces healthy forage, which produces healthy animals — and ultimately, better beef.

For Jacob and Daniel farming isn’t just a business. It’s a responsibility to the land, the community, and the generations that will follow.

Thank you for supporting local agriculture and choosing beef raised with care.
